
As one of ADB's founding members in 1966, Cambodia ceased to be a member in 1975 following a period of war and social conflict. In 1992 ADB resumed its operations in Cambodia following the peace agreement in Paris.
Shifting from central command to market-based policies, the Government of Cambodia and ADB are now working hand in hand, embarking on a development path that emphasizes economic, inclusive, and sustainable growth.
