The University of Arizona (UA) signed an agreement with the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) on Friday to open a new UA's branch in Cambodia.
According to UA, the new branch is located in AUPP compound. Starting from May 2017, instead of going to the US, Cambodian students could enroll in this new UA's branch to continues their study, and pay a lot less.
Through this agreement, Cambodian students studying at AUPP have the opportunity to do their research in collaboration with students coming from UA in the US. In some circumstance, Cambodian students could also go to do their research at UA in the US.
But, what is very important is that the diploma of the Cambodian students graduated from AUPP is recognized by UA. In other words, AUPP diploma and UA diploma have the same value regarding many majors.
In addition to majors offered by AUPP, the UA's branch in AUPP is offering majors for bachelor in law, civil engineering, business administration, as well as master's degree in law.
