New bridge crossing Tonle Sap to be built

Phnom Penh City Hall told reporters on Wednesday that another bridge crossing Tonle Sap River would soon be built to connect the National Road 5 to the National Road 6.

The City Hall added that the bridge would connect the National Road 5 in Russey Keo District to the National 6 in Chroy Changva District. The length of the bridge would be 922 meters, its width would be 20.5 meters.

The bridge would be the 5th among other four bridges crossing Tonle Sap River already built - Prek Kdam Bridge, Prek Pnov Bridge, and the twin Chroy Changva Bridges.
