PM's eldest son bets with a Facebook user

Lieutenant General Hun Manet, Prime Minister Hun Sen's eldest son, wanted to make a bet with a Facebook user accusing him for having more than $200 million deposited in a bank account in France.

On Tuesday, Lt. Gen Manet wrote on his Facebook page saying that a Facebook user under the screenname Men Nath said that Lt. Gen Manet had deposited more than $200 million in the BNP bank in France. And Lt. Gen Manet was currently participating in the bid to buy a headquarter of the French Socialist Party in France. Lt. Gen Manet even dared to offer EURO 58 million for the bid.

To this claim, Lt. Gen Manet wanted to make a bet with Mr. Nath by calling Mr. Nath to find evidence proving Lt. Gen Manet has such amount of money deposited in France. If evidence found, Lt. Gen Manet would let Mr. Nath take all those $200 million, and Lt. Gen Manet would also promise to not involve in politics anymore for his entire life.

But if Mr. Nath could not find any evidence, Mr. Nath must do a public apology to Lt. Gen Manet, and Mr. Nath must also stop talking about politics.

According to Lt. Gen Manet, it is very easy to find out the truth - the French Embassy in Cambodia or the Cambodian Embassy in France could ask the French BNP bank to confirm whether Lt. Gen Manet has a bank account with them or not. And Lt. Gen Manet hoped Mr. Nath would have the courage to ask one of the two embassies.
