South Korea donates devices to inspect workplace in Cambodia

The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) donated 13 sets of working condition checking devices to the Cambodian Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training (MLVT) in order to help the ministry to better inspect workplace in the country.

According to Fresh News, the handover ceremony took place on Monday in Seoul, South Korea, with the presence of Dr. Leng Tong, president of the Medical and Health Services Department at the MLVT, and Mr. Lee Ho Sung, president of the agency.

Those 13 set of devices consist of 65 separate devices used to check temperature, air pressure, noise, light, and electical power in workplace in a view to cutdown all eventual risks in workplace.

Besides the donation, KOSHA also helped Cambodian health inspectors to better inspect workplace by providing one week of training to seven Cambodian inspectors on how to organize inspection and on how to inspect workplace.
