
Mom Bunheng, Minister of Health, has been visiting a Cambodia-Korea friendship hospital building in the National Pediatric Hospital on Tuesday. However, the official inauguration of the building is planned to take place in January next year. Nevertheless, the building will be put in service in November.
Dr. Nheb Angkea Bos, director of the hospital, told reporters on Tuesday that with the financial support from the government of the Republic of Korea, the building has been renovated since last year. It will be equipped with the latest technology. Moreover, playgrounds for children and parking lots for visitors are also being built. The total cost for the renovation of the building is $6 million.
"This renovated building will play a crucial role in the development of human resource in the field of public health. On the other hand, with its modern equipments, the building will help us to be able to treat all kind of illness relating to children of all age," said Dr. Angkea Bos.
