Prime Minister Hun Sen, on Sunday, said that in case the opposition party CNRP would be dissolved, CNRP's commune councilors could surrender to his party that would allow them to continue to hold their function as commune councilor until the end of their term.
According to the premier, the new election laws, amended by his ruling party CPP, would allow the CPP to take more seats from the CNRP at commune level. That is why Prime Ministry Hun Sen asked CNRP's councilors to surrender to the CPP that would give them back their seat if they want to keep their function as commune councilor. If not, they would lose their seat.
The premier added that his plan was not to buy CNRP's commune councilors, it was rather the implementation of his win-win policy.
Mr. Hun Sen also said that he was 99.99 percent sure that the CNRP would be dissolved. This dissolution was his goal to not only to fight against local political parties, but also to fight against «their» mastermind whose ambition was to incite a color revolution in order to topple his elected government.
